A warrant has been served at a home near Ajo and Sandario Roads.

Wild Hearts Rescue Ranch says it has taken in one donkey and six horses. Jessica Gray runs the rescue ranch and she says the animals appear to be untrained and neglected.

A couple of the horses could also be pregnant.

“These horses have received nothing that horses need. They had filthy water, they had no access to food. They have had no hoof care. So they’re in very poor condition. Most  of them seem sound, which means they will be able to move around and be comfortable once they do receive that care which is great,” Gray said.
